  As shareholder of Green Ocean Energy Ltd, John M Henderson has been actively involved in developing methods of harnessing marine energy in ways which are harmonious to the environment and economically viable. Our team of engineers have recently contributed to the design and manufacturing of the scale model of the Ocean and Wave Treader Prototypes. These are two exciting projects that John M Henderson is looking forward to seeing deployed and reaping the energy harvest contained in the World's oceans.

• Posco Completion Ceremony in Pohang, Korea

  POSCO has announced the completion of Phase Three of the John M Henderson project at their steel plant at Pohang in Korea.
  Managing Director Alistair Lauchlan travelled to Pohang for the completion ceremony. The John M Henderson machines supplied under Phase Three complete the refurbishment of two existing coke oven batteries at POSCO. Phases One and Two of the contract involved the manufacture and supply of another full set of coke oven machines and eighty charging telescopes. The machines are now in full production and Final Acceptance Testing is under way.

  John M Henderson has been highly commended at this year’s Energy Efficiency in Manufacturing Awards, organised by the Carbon Trust in Scotland. The company received the commendation at this year Scottish Engineering Annual Awards dinner at the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow, for its work in reducing its carbon footprint which will see the company reap projected annual savings of more than £25,000.
