Compliments on a Job Well Done

JMH has recently completed the refurbishment of a Tekmar A Frame for Subsea 7.

The project included stripping the original A-Frame down to its component parts, shot blasting and inspecting all components, performing the MPI of the critical weld areas,  repainting and re-assembling the Frame, flushing and pressure testing the hydraulic system and carrying out the function loading test in the presence of the customer. We worked to a tight timescale to ensure the job was completed on time and to the highest specification, and the quality of the refurbishment was highly appreciated by Subsea7.

“The customer has mentioned how many favorable comments they have received about how good a refurbishment job looked”, says Ian Newell, our Operations Director.

This job has opened up opportunities for another two A-Frames to be refurbished for the same customer.
